Photosynthesis
| Photosynthesis is a biological process through which light from the sun, together with water and carbon dioxide, combine to form a glucose (a source of energy) and oxygen. This process takes place in the chloroplasts contained within the cells of plants. Photosynthesis doesn't create energy, but rather transforms the energy of the sun into a more usable form. This process allows plants to produce energy themselves. |
